Thank you for visiting our site. We want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our church and all that God has to offer you.

Redeemer is a small, family-oriented congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. (A "synod" is one of those church words which basically means "walking together."  In other words, we are in union with other congregations which teach God's word faithfully.  The Missouri Synod's homepage is found here and you can find more information about our larger church body at that site).   We rejoice in a heritage of faithfulness to the divine word of God found in the Bible, and seek to make God's word known to all the world. 

Our services:  Divine Service with Holy Communion is celebrated each week at 11 a.m.  Bible class for all ages is held at 9:45 a.m.  During the seasons of Advent and Lent, services are held every Wednesday evening at 7:30.

After a 2 year pastoral vacancy, our new pastor, David Tessmann, has arrived with his family, and they are getting settled into life at Redeemer, and here in Burlington. Pastor Tessmann came to us from Peace Lutheran Church, Texas City, TX, where has been for the last 9 years.
